We have several Nexus 7710 switches and I would like to use the physical management ports as the source for TACACS, and logging for each of my VDCs. Can this be done? I have tried to allocate the management nic with no success. Thoughts?

Have you tried commands like the following?
aaa group server YYYY XXX server X.X.X.X use-vrf management source-interface mgmt0
logging server X.X.X.X use-vrf management
