IE4010 on -48VDC power

Hello,

We have a customer with an industrial ethernet 4010 switch with dual PWR-RGD-LOW-DC-H power supplies. This site operates with -48 VDC power, so I reviewed the switch specifications, and they mention that the PSUs are rated for "DC 24-60V/10A", the only other available PSU option is rated for "AC 100-240V/2.0A 50-60Hz or DC 100-250V/2.0A" so I am unsure if this switch will work on this installation site.

I have found a forum post where they connect a -48VDC power supply to +48VDC power and apparently it works fine but this is the reverse of that case, so I am still unsure:

Can anyone please provide any information that will help me with this?

Thank you very much.

I guess we could test it with the available power, but I don't want to risk damage to the unit. Can damage occur if we feed a 48V PSU -48V?
