N9K-C9364C-GX having 64 ports ie 64 10G

Hi,

Can we connect the each of the 64 ports in N9K-C9364C-GX with 1G or 10G connectivity directly or do we need to first insert an adaptor into the port to be used as 1G or 10G ports?

Kindly explain what it means by " For ports 1 through 64, every 4 ports (1-4, 5-8, 9-12, and so on, referred to as a "quad") operates at a fixed speed. That is, all 4 ports will operate in 10G, or 40G, or 100G. This switch does not support mixed speeds in quad form."

64 x 100/40-Gbps Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable (QSFP28). 40Gpbs or 100Gpbs, no 1Gbps!

 

N9K-C9364C-GX can be used in a Spine&Leaf design with Spine role!
