Hi Team,
I am new in Nexus Series and i am refreshing my existing network design and seeking help.
Let me brief explain my current design of Core
1. As of Now i have only one core (Cisco 4510R)
2. In this core i have four SVI ( Vlan 10 for End users, vlan 20 for Core to Distribution, Vlan 30 for WAN Link and Van 50 for Servers)
3. OSPF is running on Vlan 10, vlan 20 and Vlan 50 and part of Backbone area 0
4. Vlan 20 is used for Distribution switch (Cisco 4507/3750) connectivity
5. Vlan 30 is used for WAN Router connectivity and it is redistributed with OSPF.
Let me brief explain my current design of Distribution SW
1. All distributions Switches are connected with Core SW
2. Vlan 20 is used for Core Connectivity and Default vlan1 is used for End systems
3. Vlan 20 is the part of OSPF Area 0 where as vlan 1 is different area ( eg 128) and rest the distribution are connected in same manner.
Now I have to refresh Core and Distribution switches with Cisco Nexus 5k and 3k respectively.
1. We will deploy two 5K as core and one 3k at each distribution.
2. I am suppose to use vPC concept and HSRP
I am expecting correct design for this so that i can use fail over on wan side and between Core and distribution.
Also I would like to use OSPF between Core and Distribution Switches.
Please suggest is it possible dynamic routing between Core and Distribution over VPC
I am attaching current design and Proposed Design for reference.
