Hi All,
Do we assign the same IP address to the management interface on a dual SUP Nexus 7706 chassis and assume only the active SUP will respond
to arp and ssh requests ? Will it actually allow me ? As I don't want to assign two different IP addresses to each of the management interface on each SUP unless there is no other way of connecting both the SUPs on the management network.
Thanks for your replies.

There is only one mgmt0 interface that you can configure. It is always associated with the active supervisor irrespective of which one of the dual sup is active. Both sups should have a physical connection to mgmt0 from the network side to ensure that the IP assigned to mgmt0 is reachable from other parts of the network.
Does this answer your Q.
