Nexus 9K SKU Meaning

Hello Community,

What is the meaning of the SKU names in the Nexus 9K product family?

If we took the N93180YC-EX part number, I understand that the N is for Nexus, 93 for the product family, the 180 is for the number of interfaces at any given speed?, how about the YC and EX?.

Hello,

N93180YC-EX can be broken into parts:

N-Nexus

93- 9300 series

180= (48*2.5)+(6*10) [48 1/10/25-gbps ports and 6 40/100-gbps, take 1/10 of max transmission speed]

Y- 25G connection

C-100G connection

EX- ASIC type- Cisco cloud scale silicon
