QSFP-40G-SR-BD Compatibility

I've looked into compatibility for this QSFP, and it appears that it's supported on the Nexus 6k/7k, but I'm trying to determine if it's compatible with the Nexus 2348PQ, and I can't find any documentation speaking to this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Darren

Bi-Di is only supported in Nexus 3K, 6K, 7K, and 9K, as far as I'm aware.

Go here: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/interfaces_modules/transceiver_modules/compatibility/matrix/OL_24900.html Look under Table 2.

For 2248PQ, you can use regular QSFP-40G-SR4 or QSFP-40G-CSR4 as an uplink.

Thanks Leo - that's the same compatibility information I was looking at...was just hoping that I was missing something...

Thanks for taking the time to rate our posts, Darren.  :)

You may want to "reach out" to your Cisco SE/AM and ask them why the Nexus 5K isn't included (I mean the Nexus 3K is there but not the Nexus 5K, what gives?).

If they can't provide you with any sound answers, tell them to raise a Product Enhancement Request (PER).  If there are enough noises generated by customers, this feature could potentially be enabled.
