100Mbit FO connection tot a GBIC slot on a 3524

I want to convert from 3-com to Cisco. However my backbone is not every wher in the lan !Gbit fiber.

On the edge i want to standadize on 3524 series switches. Does any one know if there are 100Mbit fiber optic interface that can be placed in a GBIC slot in a 3524 series switch.

The 3500 does not have a 100FX interface available. You have a few options: 1. Use a 100FX to 100BaseT media converter if the fiber distance is to long for Gig. 2. Look at the 2950C series switches, it has 2 100BaseFX uplinks.
