I will be setting up 2 Cisco 2600 point to point with a full t1 using the WIC T1 CSU/DSU card to I have to set up FDL (Facilities Data Link)?

If you are using a service module it is 'service-module T1 FDL both .

According to this link it says I can only pick one, "Facilities Data Link is off by default. It must be configured to either the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) or AT & T 54016, but not both at the same time."
Excuse my ignorance but I dont really even know what FDL does. I cant seem to find any info on it either.

If you do not configure FDL then the carrier will not be able to read your CSU stats or loop your CSU
