2912MF-Xl and X2914-XL-V

anyone have any idea for this issue ?

One of my customer have a WS-C2912MF-XL which running fine. But when they upgrade a module WS-X2914-XL-V (4 port UTP module) in WS-C2912MF-XL, the 4 port UTP all lights on with amber permanently. Though that is the module problem, but when plug this module in another switch C2924 it work fine.

The IOS version for this switch is 12.0(5.3)WC(1), Been verify from the web that this version is support WS-X2914-XL-V with WS-C2912MF-XL . any idea ? or any thing can be wrong ?

Hi 2912MXL has a peculiar implementation that make it to detect the module only when you fully tight the tightening screws in the module.
