3COM modem - router console port.

Hi,

I'm trying to connect 3COM modem to CISCO 26xx router console port for telnet access to rempte router in case of serial links down.

I need help in setup modem along with modem dip switch setting.

If any one can help me I will be thankfull

Hai mhanif,

You can't connect a modem to the router console port.Connect it to the aux port and configure the aux port.I think below URL will help you in this.
