Hello,
I have seen this in a few Cisco sample configs, but I think it is just a name tied to an IP address:
ip host rund 172.168.1.1
could also be
ip host HOME 192.168.16.1
So the 'rund' has no significance other than being a name used as an alias for an IP address.

The command "ip host" is used to map a host name to an IP address. So in your case it probably maps host name rund to the IP address that follows.
