Hi All..
We are starting to look at ACL manager and would like to know if anyone out there is using this or a similar product, or internally developed solution and what they think of the product / solution in use.
Thanks in advance.

The Release notes and user guides for ACL Manager given in the following document will give you an insight into the product. Then you can decide its use. Not sure if there are any similar products.

Hi Rajesh...
Hope you can answers or comment on some of the items below:
- I can't seem to get to the first link
- Thanks, but I already have the tutorial CD. It was helpful, but I need a few question answered
- Are there any scalability issues ? ex. max number devices that can be pushed by ACLM and the response time for the change to occur ?
- Has any testing been done on a device under attack, and if so how successful was the test to get the ACL applied with ACLM
- Is there a way to make the product share global configuration changes to other user IDs other than in read only mode ? Can it be forced / customized to use global config only ?
- Does the tool have some 'smart capability' where it would pick up blatant ALC errors or remove redundant entries or warn a user of certain conditions? I thought that the optimizer tool did this and I can't seem to get the option 'un grayed' from the tools menu.
Thanks
John
