adding ISDN connection with existing 56k serial WAN connection

Currently i have several serial lines each with a dedicated ISDN backup line. I would like to have the ISDN connection running all the time in conjuction with the 56k serial line. I there any relevant documentation on how to accomplish this? Do i need to put in commands to balance the load appropriately ?
