Banner MOTD's

Just curious if anyone as experienced Banner's not being completed through Telnet. Had different configurations and sizes of banners. Even a simple:

banner motd ^C

TEST

^C

This would prohibit a telnet access. This was running fine other quipment running the same software and hardware, and many other locations.

When looking at the debug, it looks like the session never gets completed. Anyone else have sucha problem? What was the cause?

You can probably remove the 'banner motd' command and check if the problem is due to any other vty related configuration like 'login' and 'password' commands. The debugs might also show the reason for session not getting completed.
