If you doubt that you are running into a bug, the Bug toolkit is a very good tool to check for similar bugs. Also Online TAC Case collection is a very good place to check other customer cases. It has a good search utility using which you can filter what you are searching for. If you get syslog messages which you cannot decode by yourself Error Message Decoder is a great utility. To find out a particular software with a feature that you are looking for or to find out the hardware thats compatible with your software (or vice versa), you can use Software Advisor.
