I would like to know what''s the best practice as far as using IP numbers if i want to provide access to our customers who are also using RFC 1918 address on their internal network like me ??? Can i use part of public IP ( Class C) assigned by my ISP by taking the chunk that''s not used as of now (VLSM) with NAT?? I read abt NAT in overlapping RFC 1918 address network , looks cumbersome to implement with the intro of DNS...is this solution widely used??? Are there any other avenue i should be researching ???
