Cannot ping the natted vip

Hi everyone, 

 

 

I am having a problem so i am not sure if its my nat or the problem is on the F5,

 

Let me give you a picture on the issue , I have two firewalls the internet facing and internal firewall,

the proposed project is to have the server accessed internal and externally ,

 

I have F5 which seats on my DMZ on the internal firewall ,

for external i had to nat the public Ip 19x.xx.xx.xx to the private Ip 17x.xx.xx.xx which seats on the F5 that is pointing to the pool of two IPs (VIP) 17x.. that is on the DMZ which needs to be natted to the physical servers that seats on production, I have natted the VIP 17x... that seats on my DMZ to physical servers that seats on production but i cannot ping the VIP 17x.. IPs yet i can ping the physical servers and using packet trace you can see that the nat is working as you can see the IPs being translated...

When you attempt to ping the VIP, are you expecting that ping to be forwarded to one of your available internal servers? are any of those receiving the ICMP echo request packet?

From where exactly are you pinging from?

If you haven't already, enable SNAT auto map on the vip.
