Hello!
I've got a problem. I restored 3550 IOS and CMS to the Flash memory
by using TFTP Cisco server and by using .tar image file. I'm not sure that
the 'new' Flash file system is correct. I mean : structure of directories
and files in flash: including CMS file system ( subdirectory /HTML ).
I could properly reinitialize switch and did simple pre-configuration
options with saving that to the startup-config. Then I reloaded switch a few
times and basically everything is O.K.
But I can't to get now CMS session from a few PCs from which I could
login to CMS earlier - before deleting all the Flash memory content.
I'm afraid that the 'set parameters - environment variables' can also be
incorrect. And because of that I'm not sure that the transfer and/or
decompessing of .tar image file has done properly.
If anyone can help me and send to me fragments of screenshots of the
Flash memory contents (lists of files with their sizes ,directories with
their content (for example in a one or a few text files) I would be very grateful.
Then I would compare proper file system with mine and eventually do
any corrections. By the way - my machine is Catalyst 3550 48fast ports+
2 GBIC ports - with EMI version of software, IOS 12.1(12c)EA1-
- the new version. Earlier I had IOS 12.1(11r)EA1.
