There are 4 CatOS images on the Cat 6000 (standard, CiscoView, SSH, and CiscoView + SSH) but there are only 3 images on the Cat 4000 (standard, CiscoView, and SSH) Why does the Cat 4000 not have a CiscoView + SSH image? Insufficient Flash space?
Using a Sniffer, I do not observe the cleartext passwords when accessing the switch via a web browser with the CiscoView image installed. As a result, the passwords must be encrypted. How are they encrypted? SSL? Is there a URL describing this?
