Is there a way to see how many memory modules a router has loaded in it WITHOUT opening the router. I have a router that has 32MB of RAM but I don't know if it is just one 32MB DIMM or 2x16MB DIMMs.
Is there an IOS command?
Thanks.

Hi,
You can on certain models by using "show platform".
Plus if you have a 3620 or a 3640 series router the following link shows you how to determine the SIMM slots and sizes.

Good luck
