Cisco 1720 Router

I have six of the above which were used for our small offices ADSL connection and now we don't need them.

Does any know if I can add ethernet cards and use them to route from one subnet to another? Or does the 1720 do trunking between VLAN's?

Trying find a use for these things!!!

1720 does not support inter vlan routing.

1721 does support inter vlan routing

You can add a WIC-1ENET (10 BaseT) card to one of the WIC slots of a 1720 or 1721 and route between two subnets using two separate physical interfaces. Note that WIC-1ENET is only a 10BaseT and not 100BaseT

I take when you say the two interfaces one is the 10/100 Ethernet interface built into the 1720 and the second is one I would buy and install?

Yes, thats correct. YOu will have to buy the wic-1enet card separate. I think the price range is anywhere from 500-1000 dollars list price. YOu get discounts when you buy from Cisco partners.
