HI All!

I have Cisco 4006

( System Bootstrap Version: 5.4(1) )

WS-C4006 Software, Version NmpSW: 5.4(2)

so , on the one of the VLAN linked SCO OPen Server

and some SUN servers ( Cluster nodes) + workstation

all work perfect ,except one strange thing

when going connection ( for instance FTP) between SCO and SUN ( or workstaions) :

SCO get from another - speed is like 100 mb/sec - it snormal

SCO PUT file to the another host -SPEED IS DOWNGRADE UP THE 10 TIMES!!

another kind link's ( SUN-SUN, SUN - worksaton and so on ) IS NORMAL

???? What's going on ?

From your question I understand that your SCO server supports a speed of 100MBS when tranfering data to some workstation while supporting 10mbps for other workstation,

This should be because of two reasons.

1.Speed mismatch in the ethernet cards of the server and the slower workstation which force the server to transfer at 100mbps

2.It could be a port restriction configured on the switch
