After I upgrade my IOS, its throwing now an error "Error : compressed image checksum is incorrect 0x4B3A9956".  I know I can recover from this

crash through tftp by uploading IOS but the problem I'm having now is the router is not accepting break signal either through putty, teraterm, minicom. Everytime I send break signal to get to rommon mode it keeps loading bootstrap.  Any solution on this?

The error message means the IOS being loaded is corrupt.  

Go to the Cisco website and re-download the IOS & make sure the MD5 hash value of the file downloaded matches with the MD5 hash value found in the Cisco website.
