Can Cisco Works and VMS be installed on the same server? If not what are the known issues? I have CW2k 5th edition installed on a W2k server

I added ITEM to an LMS platform and it killed it.

A subsequent TAC case concluded that you couldn't add ITEM to LMS (or RWAN) in the same way you couldn't add VMS.

It anoyed me that the installation of ITEM does not warn you of this, but subtly damages the rest of CiscoWorks so you won'y necessarily know unless you use it in anger.

I guess the answer, then, is no.... unless anyone can suggest differently

Yes, Cisco Works RWAN bundle and VMS can be installed on the same server.

However, it is recommended that you install them on separate servers.
