Class-map: Difference between 'match vlan' and 'match input-interface vlan'

Does anyone know the difference between using 'match vlan' and 'match input-interface vlan' in a class-map on a Cat 4500?

I want to set the DSCP value based on VLAN ID. The Cat 3550 offers 'vlan' as a match selection inside the class-map, while the 4500 doesn't, unless you further qualify it with 'input-interface.' The help description says "Catalyst VLAN..." The docs appear weak on this issue.

Hi Kato,

Probably, one way it to set dscp statically for the porth while you keep it as untrusted.

Thanks for the reply. As it turns out, 'match input-interface' isn't supported on the C4500 (probably 4000 as well) platform. So basically, matching on the VLAN ID isn't an option on that platform. Another platform-related quirk is CEF, hence ip routing, needs to be enabled to set the dscp value.
