Can anyone help me, I want to know the best way of assigning my ip's to the wan etheret interfaces on 4 of my routers, I have 4 routers all on the same les circuit so effectively on the same lan, each site has its own lan addresses, I want to connect each router up on each site using the other interface, what ip is the best way to ip the wan interfaces, shall i use a class c address with a 29 or 30 bit mask ?

Hi,

if I understand correctly you have 4 hosts in a subnet, so you need a /29. You could use 192.168.254.0/29 or any other private network not conflicting with your IP addresses already in use.

Hope this helps

Martin
