Hi,

We are running a windows nt 4 network with a 2610 router and a couple of locations connecting with the cisco 801/3 router. Everything works fine except that the router makes connection every 10 minutes. As you understand this wil increase the line costs.

In the book supplied with the 80x i have found an article on controlling the line activation (p.4-28) but the steps to follow will not work on my 80x.

Is there anyone who can help me with this problem?

If necassary i can supply both configuration files (2610 and 803)

If you could supply the configs of both routers it will be useful to check the access list configuration. In the NT4 network are clients on remote sites logging onto NT Domain at a central site. Are there servers at all sites with trusts setup. You can email the config to Jmcglashan@euro-star.com
