Hi all,

Now I need your advices,

I have o new csm card (WS-X6066-SLB-APC), this card need to use now. But when I insert into Cat6509 (installed a csm card), this new card indicated "OK", but when we configure a client vlan on this, appearing a error message "%CSM_SLB-4-TOPOLOGY: Module 2 warning: CSM has received a packet that it may have transmitted. This may indicate a bridge loop."

I don't know why.

This message is issued when an active CSM receives an ARP frame with a source MAC and IP which are "owned" by the CSM. In most cases this indicates a bridge loop of some sort, though it could be an "active/active" situation.

The CSM sends out gratuitous ARP frames for all configured interfaces at periodic intervals. If there is a loop, these are usually the frames which will trigger this message.
