CSS 11503 factory reset / lost password

Hello,

I got an used 11503 Cisco Content Switch engine. Unfortunately in boot request a password, in offline diagnostic mode also ask a password.

I try to reset nvram as desribed in

Main;pio;nvrm;nclr;reb

procedure says, the "nclr" command not found.

How can I clear the configuration?

You may be out of luck on this one. That product hasn't been sold for about 10 years.

You might open up the chassis and see if the nvram is powered with a battery. Disconnecting the battery may clear the settings.

Sorry but I can't help further.

Are you trying to use this to learn? The system is quite old and very rarely found in any live networks these days. I shutdown the last ones my then-employer was using about 5 years ago.

Just for learn yeah. I got a step ahead :) I successfully logged in into CSS, when I try change the offline password, says, incorrect password.

But I'm in CSS, so if I have time...
