CW2000 migration

Hi,

I'm trying to migrate the CW2000 (RWAN 1.2) from a Windows 2000 to a Solaris 2.8 to RWAN 1.3. On CCO I found a description on how to do a "remote upgrade" using the export/import perl scripts for CMF (CD1) and RME but nothing regarding the migration between different OS. I've tried to import the exported data into Solaris based RWAN 1.3: CD1 CW users got in ok, RME failed. The problem was with the different slashes: Win \, Solaris /, now there is a manifest file created during the export that descibes the paths for the exported files, so if I change the slashes in the manifest file to the unix ones, will the import work?

Thanks

Are you sure this can be done? I tried this for LMS. I started off by creating a seed file (RME>Admin>inventory>Export to file). This created a seed file of all the managed devices and was (supposedly) importable to any OS. See if you are able to do something like this.
