dhcp conflict

I am currently using c5500 switches i have trunking configured using auto isl at one switch and isl on at the other. I have several vlans and my dhcp is working fine. I will be replacing the c5500 switches with 2 6509 switches using native ios. If I use cisco's recommendation of using desirable at both switches will it interfere with my dhcp assignments ?

I have not seen any problems with DHCP and desirable mode. However, you should still schedule a maintenance window to make the changes to your network.
