Someone knows is the dhcp option 12 is supported by the dhcp server?

I have 12.3(14)T1 IOS

Are you using host pools ?

Have you tried client-name command ?

Check this link for more details.

Otherwise try "option 12 " command see if that helps!

Thanks.

The option 12 doesn´t work:

router(config)#ip dhcp pool routerrpueba

router(dhcp-config)#option 12 ascii prueba

% DHCP does not allow raw option 12.
