Dial Backup Failure

We have a Cisco 1751 with a US Robotics modem connected to it. The modem is to dial an AS5300 in the event the Ethernet 0 interface fails. The access-list defines only IP traffic as interesting. The dialer dials out authenticates and then fails. Any help is greatly appreciated.

can you post the configuration of your 1751 router, as well as the output of ´debug modem´ when the failure occurs ?
