since the 806 router dosn't have an AUX port, can I dial-in to the console port? If not, how do I go about configuring it remotely if the line fails

what modem are you using with 806. US robotics would need special configuration of the modem, before dialing in....also you need to put some commands in the line con 0 mode.

is a sample link for USR modem.
Some modems like Zoom, needs string configured in them too...Let us know what modem you ar eusing.

Isn't this for the aux port?
unless I misread it...
anyway I can get it working on the console port since the 806 router doesn't have an aux.
thx
