Hello

Response #1:

When you add devices into Resource Manager Essentials, RME will try to download the initial startup/running configs

Response #2

Yes, there is no way to manually get the information.

It's part of the Inventory process once you add the device using RME->Administartion->Inventory

Add devices or Import from File/from NMS

Please take a look at the below link:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/cw2000e/e_3_x/3_5/u_guide/ug_eapps.htm#1164960

Response #3:

Search Archive by Device lets you look at the different versions of configurations saved by

Resource Manager Essentials

So if you set up your CiscoWorks to save 10 configurations per device. CiscoWorks will keep

the last 10 configurations of every device that you

have entered into its Inventory.

You can look at the differences between configs

and the individual configurations as well.

Please go over the Overview for Resource Manager

Essentials (RME), that'll give you a better

understanding of what it can do:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/cw2000e/e_3_x/3_5/u_guide/ug_over.htm

Hope this helps

Thank You Kawng. that was quite helpful.
