Hey,

I have created a custom firmware using the FDK provided. for Exanic X25 everything works properly and both the ports (port 0 and port 1) link is up. but when i generated the same firmware for Exanic x10, the port1 link is always down. Is there any way to get this port up or any configuration change required while building the firmware?

Any suggestions or links would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance for any help

Hello,

did you use the v2 FDK ?

https://exablaze.com/docs/fdk-guide/exanic_fdk/

yes

Both the ports are up but the link for port 1 is showing no link... and another observation is that after some time(after few hours) randomly the link becomes active and on reload or reprogram of the firmware the link goes down again.... any solution or idea why this could happen??

Hello,

it might be worth comparing the output of 'lspci -d 1ce4: -vv' for both cards.

I assume you have already looked at the troubleshooting guide linked below ?

Hey ,

So i have compared and couldnt find any difference.... so now what is happening is basically, that for X10 the link up for port1 is taking about 1 to 2 minutes everytime we reload the card(using exanic-fwupdate -r ) or reboot the server.  Is this a known behaviour of X10 pcie link up taking some time or is there anything i can do to get the link up immediately

Hello,

tough one. What server are these cards installed in ? I am just guessing here, but what if you install the X10 in the PCIe slot(s) where the X25 (working) card(s) is/are installed in?
