Hello all, I have recently inherited an old FDDI network at my new non-profit long term care retiremant village employer. I would like to get advice on how I can remove this infastructure and get beyond 100mb. Currently fiber has been run to all of the workstations and if I could I would prefer to just keep that although I do understand the advantages I could have if I have CAT 5 or 6 ran to the workstation locations, but I would have to add all of that. My question is it as simple of changing to different switches? I apologize I know very little about fiber.
