Hello everyone,
How to find Mac address of a router or a PC on a different Vlan. I can ping the device.
I pinged and run arp -a command but the mac address doesn't appear in the list.
Is there any other way to get mac address.
Thanks

Hi,
do a SPAN session(port mirroring) and you'll see traffic from this router or PC.
Regards.

Where are you running the arp -a ?
If you have a PC in vlan 10 and then ping a device on vlan 11 you will not see the mac-address for vlan 11 device on your PC using arp -a. You would have to log onto the device that is responsible for routing vlan 11 and then look at the arp table on that.
