Flash PC Card

I need the steps to:

1.Copy a system image(IOS) to a PC Flash card.

2.Take that flash card to another switch(4507)and copy that system image to the new switch.

Basically I am trying to upgrade an IOS on a switch and I am trying to put it on a pc flash card on my sup engine then take that card to another switch and copy it down to the switch that needs to be upgraded.

Quite easy, just make sure the switch on step 1 is also 4507 or something similar IFS:

1. Switch# copy bootflash: slotx:

( replace x with pc flash slot 0 or 1 )

2. after it's done, insert the card to new switch.

3. dir slotx ; makesure you have the new file on it.

4. copy slotx: bootflash:

5. then do the boot system flash bootflash:YOURNEWIOS.
