FTP,TFTP on 3750

I'm using 3750 cisco switches which does not support SFTP. I know TFTP is not secure at all when it comes to transferring the configuration. FTP is also not secure

my question is: what is the best practice un terms of security?

Have you considered using SCP? What switch model/ IOS are you using?
