GBIC WS-G5483 cannot be seen with Cisco View on the 6500

When I do a CV on a Cat 6513 , with native IOS , version c6sup22-dsv-mz.121-11b-EX1.bin , it shows as ? - - - -is this related to bug issues or cisco view. This GBIC is new , is there a patch for me to download

Did you grab the latest package for the 6000 series from the package support updater? Also might be a good idea to grab the latest IDUs for Campus and RME.

Hi,

This behaviour is due to the bug in IOS, which also reflects in CV. This has been release noted in the latest device package readme.
