I'm helping a group at work, who just got a 10gig internet connection. I have tons of experience with everything except QSFP cables etc etc. this is what I'm trying to do:
10gig Internet-----------> Cisco 8300 ---------40G QSFP ----------> Cisco Nexus 3434C ------------ RJ45 Copper ---------> Cisco ASA
I need to connect to the hi-speed Nexus first, so they can stream data over the internet at 10gig, but I also have to connect the ASA, which is where the VPN is located.
Question: How to I connect from the front of the Nexus 3434C (all QSFP) at 40gig or 100gig over to the back of the ASA, which is all RJ45 copper (1-gig)
Thanks!

Note that you can't transfer or negotiate speeds on fiber , meaning then you must have 1-gig available on the Cisco Nexus 3434C too ,

You should be able to support 1Gbps by using a QSA module and a GLC-T insert.
