How to find device on switch

How can I find out what Module\Port a device is attached on a Cat Switch? If I know the IP Adress and/or MAC Adress is there a command or commands that I can use to trace to the MOD\Port?

If you know the MAC address, you can do a "sh cam xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx" in CAT OS or "sh mac-address-table address xxxx.xxxx.xxxx" in IOS based switches
