Implementing MLS on Catalyst 5509 Switches with RSM Module

We are looking to implement NetFlow switching on our Catalyst 5509 switches in order to reduce the load being placed on our RSM module during peak traffic hours.

To implement MultiLayer Switching (MLS) on a Catalyst 5509, you will need a NetFlow Feature Card (NFFC) or NFFC II daughter card on your supervior and software version 11.3.x.WAx or 12.0/12.1 for the Route Switch Module (RSM). The configuration of MLS is in the configuration quide.
