Internet gateway failover question

Same ISP, wondering if this can be done: one of our applications has public IP address A.B.C.D hard-coded, which is at the production hosting site. When the corresponding gateway goes down, we'd like possibly BGP to trigger the setup of a static NAT so that all traffic to A.B.C.D is sent to W.X.Y.Z at the disaster recovery site. Can this be done with Cisco IOS? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This would be a manual process for you. You should look into Cisco's Distributed Director for similar functionality: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/cxsr/dd/
