hi im having trouble finding PDF's detailing what each feature pack holds as in IP only , IP+ , IP/FW etc

any ideas

The best way to see what each feature set contains is to use the Feature Navigator available on CCO:

http://tools.cisco.com/ITDIT/CFN/jsp/index.jsp

You can search by feature image name and list all the available featutes for a specific image.
