Is there a way to check if my reseller did give me routers with licensed IOS or not ?
I did order 10 Cisco1721 routers with the following IOS : Cisco 1700 IOS IP/ADSL/IPX/AT/IBM/FW/IDS PLUS IPSEC 56.
As the list price of this IOS is quite expensive (1,800$ piece); I would like to make sure that the IOS provided has been bought by the reseller, the "show version" command did show me that I actually have the needed IOS ... that's all.
Thanks in advance.

You could check the filename...the file for that feature-set should be named c1700-bk8no3r2sy7-mz."ios-version".bin

The filename allows you to check the IOS feature-set and the version but can't tell you if it's actually a paid version or an IOS downloaded from the Cisco web!

Does this mean that there is no need to buy 1800$ IOS software ? As far as we can get it for free from the web (trial version) !!!!!!
