Is any specific reason for upgrade, If yes then please check the cisco site where they provides with best and stable IOS version for all switches.

Hi,

Thanks for the update. As per the client requirement we need to update the IOS. I have one question that, after update the IOS version configuration was change with default or no changes happen with current configuration.

You would have to take a backup of router configuration prior any upgrade and there should not be any impact in the configuration. you refer the below link for reference:

Hi,

I have upgrade switched IOS. But I have facing a problem while I upgrade the IOS in WS-C3650-24TS switch. In TFTP showing a error related with not enough space to upload the one another IOS in flash memory. The IOS is cat3k_caa-universalk9.SPA.03.06.03.E.152-2.E3   and size also too big 288mb.

Please suggest me how I upgrade the IOS in 3650

Hello,

No, normally there is no impact on configuration file but always recommended practice is to have backup of file before upgrade.

With my exp. I always tend to follow to take backup of configuration over tftp and then proceed with upgardation.
