ip accounting access-violation

Hi,

I set up an inbound filter on a router interface for temporary action against a virus, and I know its working because I don't see the packets being forwarded out the serial interface anymore using the ip accounting command. but when i go and enable "ip accounting access-violation" on the inbound interface, and then type "do show ip accounting access-violation", i don't see any packets violating the ACL. what do I need to do to see these packets being filtered by the appropriate ACL?

can you add the keyword ´log´ to the end of your access-list statements and check if you see any matches ?
